Devin Townsend - Storm (acoustic cover)

Описание: Here's how my professional career as a musician and a performer goes (well, used to before all this isolation happened): being heavily influenced by metal and rock music, I would either take a monumental and well known rock track and deliver it in some weird deranged sort of blues/country/flamenco/ballad fashion, or pick up your beloved chart breaking pop hit and make it is rock heavy as humanly possible to do with an acoustic guitar. "Why", you would ask? Well, I like to think, my performances have a bit of educational side to them, so whenever I feel the opportunity presents itself, I would throw in some of my favorite metal tracks to a non rock audience, and hopefully enlarge our rock'n'roll community. It happened so with this track. I had played a couple of my iterations of Heavy Devy's songs, and after a show a girl came up to me who's songs they were, which eventually got her hooked on his hefty-crafty music, and she would send me messages asking me to do this particular song. Now, I've loved this song with such ferocity that I never had the audacity to try it out in public (since it demands a ridiculous voice range, and I sucked so many times, trying to envelope all the power and vulnerability of Dev's singing in this track) but, hey, it's isolation! So it's time to bring on the self-perfecting mode. And also I've been reminded that I've been missed even in my virtual presence, so here I am, trying to do my best.
