Yknow, I started the jazz thing as a joke, but now it's really starting to grow on me. Which might be a bit awkward for the channel, because jazz and synthwave are pretty far apart as far as genres go. Maybe I could combine them into some kind of electro-jazz?
Anyway, I felt like my last jazz remix was too faithful to the original song, and it didn't really have much room for improvisation. I wanted to fix that for this one, so I did an inordinate amount of chord theory research and then just went crazy with the harmonization whenever I could. The theory went out the window almost immediately so I have no idea if some of these chord movements even make sense, but they seem to sound good, and I hear that's what jazz is all about
