More than the noise and busy people coming in and out, it is what most of these group of people consider as home. It gives them a feeling of happiness that even getting up everyday before sunrise, rain or shine cannot stop them in order to make a living and earn. It is what sustains them. These people never fail to smile and greet at their customers. It is only in mercado that we are called "ma'am/sir" without having to achieve any profession. It is only in mercado that we are called "gwapa/gwapo" even if we see ourselves otherwise. It is only in mercado that literally almost everything we need are being displayed. Mercado is a beautiful place that is made up of beautiful people. May we continue to be kind to our people and keep choosing local! 🎏
