With 25 years as an executive coach, and talent development leader, Chris O’Gorman specializes in empowering leaders and teams to navigate complex, uncertain environments with resilience and purpose. As the founder of O’Gorman Consulting, he leads a focused practice dedicated to delivering practical, impactful solutions that foster thriving organizational cultures.

Prior to founding his consultancy, Chris led Organizational Development at Payments Canada. He designed and executed a talent strategy that engaged employees and built a pipeline of future leaders to support the vision of modernizing Canada’s payments infrastructure—the backbone of the nation’s financial system.

Before Payments Canada, Chris spent 15 years at Nokia Networks, where he held various global leadership roles in talent and organizational development. He developed programs aligning employee growth with business objectives and partnered with client groups on leadership coaching, team development, change management, strategic planning, and execution—delivering measurable results in highly dynamic markets.

Chris has worked with organizations across the high-tech, non-profit, education, and public sectors, providing leadership development, team coaching, and strategic facilitation. His clients include respected organizations such as Harris Computer, CANARIE, OOKLA, Geneva Water Hub, University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre, PlanetaryX and academic institutions like Telfer and Rotman Schools of Management and Carleton University.
