The Southwest Chief, originally pulled by AMTK 160 and 14, picked up a BNSF engine to pull it to Chicago. Freight engines don't go as fast as passenger engines, so the going was slow after a lengthy delay to get the BNSF machine. It wound up at GBB 7h9m late!
AMTK 160 is a Pepsi can engines in Phase III livery with a 50th anniversary commemorative logo. It's a rare one around here, and having the BNSF pull it made us brave the cold to get it.
Being 7 hours late, it was dark when it arrived. Our GoPros are absolutely atrocious at low-light environments, so we had to rely on the platform lights and the flashing lights of the crossing to see anything.
