Moto Ngaubvire means "keep your fire burning"
Award winning Zimbabwean singer Cynthia Mare released the song Moto Ngaubvire as part of 16 days of Activism in 2014. She teamed up with The British Council and UKAID in Zimbabwe to launch the single at Alliance Francaise, Old Mutual Theatre, Harare. The song is aimed at empowering young girls and women who may have gone through difficult situations that leave them feeling unworthy and lose hope in life and lose themselves. Its aimed at people who have suffered abuse, rape, gender based violence, bullying, emotional abuse etc. The message is "you are important, believe in yourself, don't let the bad experiences keep you down, keep your fire burning".
