I am happy to show you my ultimate 2JZ turbo combination and waste gate setup.
When it comes to turbo selection you will have to determine a few factors depending aplication. in my case It's pretty straight forward. I want the best combination to reach 800whp and least amount of lag as possible. this is where the new GARRETT motion G35-900 turbocharger comes in. It is based of the GTX3582R, except the G series features a newly designed 1 piece center housing. improved compressor wheel aerodynamics and a turbine wheel constructed of MAR-M alloy rated for up to 1050 degrees Celcius. Stainless steel exhaust housing. Oil restrictor and water fittings already mounted.

Turbosmart Joined the build and sent me some goodies including the new Gen V waste gate. I chose to go with their 45MM hypergate which is top of the line when it comes to waste gates, also compact enough to fit in most applications. it has a newly designed exhaust valve that outflows previous versions. ring clamp to hold the diaphragm and 1/8 npt fitting threads which facilitate mounting and plumbing. let's not forget about the new t bolt style clamping system .
