What happened to AZOVSTAL Defenders at Mariupol?

Описание: On July 25 2022, I was scheduled to travel north of Kyiv to Bucha & Irpin. But due to another bout with covid, I decided it would be best to stay in Kyiv. So I went to the supermarket and stocked up on groceries, as the next days would be spent indoors.

In Kyiv my favourite supermarket took me pass a huge building-size-banner, honouring the fighters, the Heroes from the Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol.

It had been weeks since hearing any news on the fighters. They did not want to surrender preferring to die til the last man, but President Zelensky ask them to surrender back on May 18 2022.
