We will be bringing the 4 Wheel drive system back to life on this 1995 Chevy Silverado C2500 5.7L (T.B.I.). The 4 wheel drive system has not worked for a few years now. We will show the two most commonly failed parts on a GM 4X4 / IFS design with "no engagement" issues made from 1988-1998.
This video covers GM trucks made 1988-1998 equipped with the NP 241-C Manuel lever transfer case, but does not cover Push Button 4x4 Trucks with a NP243-C released after 1996-1998 with a Transfer Case Encoder Motor.
Part II We will be discuss lubrication issues that can cause NP241-C Transfer Case to hang up after a long time of "No Use / No Engagement".
This video has be reedited and uploaded so I could release the series in its entirety as we had a transfer case hang up after the repair of the front 4wd actuator. Part II will be released later this week.
