Cutting length of Main bent up Bar of Slab
Cutting length of Distribution Bar of slab

Shorter Direction Cutting Length :
Length of Main Bar ( Shorter Length ) = Left Side anchorage length + Length of Slab in Shorter Direction + 0.42 x d + Right Side Anchorage Length
where , d = depth of slab - top cover - bottom cover - half dia of main bar

No. of Main Bars in Shorter Direction = (Length of Slab in Longer Direction)/ (Spacing of Main Bars) + 1

Distribution Bars in ( Shorter Direction ) = Left Side anchorage length + Length of Slab in Shorter Direction + Right Side Anchorage Length

No. of Distribution Bars in Shorter Direction = (L/5 or L/7 Length of Slab in Longer Direction)/ (Spacing of Distribution Bars) + 1
