Repairing rear riding lawn mower hydrostatic transaxle. Broken retaining ring.

The rim was rusted pretty good to the axle. It wouldn't come off easily. Instead of taking my time hosing it down with WD40 or heat it up with a torch, I beat it with a hammer. That was a bad mistake. The retaining ring inside the transaxle snapped. Now, the axle would slide due to ring clip no ponger lock on the axle. I was thinking I would just swap it with another one I got. Nope, they're different.
I wanted not to give up and see if I could fix it.
So here's the video showing me removing the transaxle, tearing apart and reassembled it back together. SORRY I let it some valuable information.
If your is not hydrostatic transaxle, use 80w90 oil. I think about 16oz. Please do your research.
Mine was hydrostatic transaxle that use 20w-50 synthetic oil. I believed it takes about 2.5 quartz or 80 oz.

Use extra black or gray gasket sealant. Available at auto part stores or Walmart.
