In this week’s episode we cover:

1. I really need help knowing how to decide on the difficulty level of a sweater, in terms of how it is constructed (rather than whether it is mosaic or brioche, etc.) Any tips you can give? For example, do most people find knitting a sweater top down to be easier than bottom up, or the reverse? Which of your patterns would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks for any advice to help me not be so intimidated by sweaters!

2. I have just started on the Stria Cardigan, and I wonder, how will you weave in the ends in Half Fisherman’s rib when you are knitting small stripes?

5. I decided to treat myself and bought a kit to knit the Inclinations shawl. On the label it is stated to steam block the finished work to avoid color transfer. Did you wash yours or steam blocked it? Thank you for all your work. 🥰

Bonus Question: I'm really looking forward to your upcoming socks KAL! Are you able to share any sneaks or details about what type of yarn the pattern uses? I will be visiting family the whole week of Thanksgiving and so away from my stash and LYS and want to make sure I'm able to bring a suitable yarn with me so I can participate :)
