The Minnesota State Fair, or the Great Minnesota Get Together, is the biggest event of the year drawing in 2 million visitors annually!

Each year for 12 days the fair is the official end of summer featuring live music, live animals, rides and all the food you can eat.

The fair has over 300 different food vendors, and each year there are dozens of new foods added to the fair to test out. Some will have lines around the block (pickle pizza) and others will only be for acquired tastes (lutefisk tacos).

The one can’t miss food stall is Sweet Martha’s where you can get a full bucket of fresh out of the over chocolate chip cookies 🍪🍪

Aside from food there are hundreds of farm animals on display from piglets to goats and everything in between.

There are also different buildings dedicated to agriculture (seed art is a must see!), food, and even green energy.

Enjoy the evening riding rides at the Mighty Midway or enjoying a free concert at the Leinenkugels Lodge.
