A rally is underway outside the US Consulate General Sydney, in North Sydney.
Demonstrators are standing in unity with Iranian protesters, calling for an end to the oppressive regime.
While around a dozen police officers stand outside the building, demonstrators are waving Iranian and Australian flags.
The protesters are calling on US President Donald Trump to act and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to cut ties completely with Iran.
