Step by step disassembly of 1982 Evinrude E35RCND 35 horsepower outboard motor lower unit gearcase to remove damaged gears. I made a functional bearing housing puller out of 2x2 wood, 1/4"x20 threaded rod, several nuts, bolts and washers. Used only one specialized tool to remove the inner retaining ring. I hope to show in this video that you don't need a great shop setup or many specialized tools for this job. Unfortunately the cleanup of the gear damage and reassembly will be harder than the tear down.
