EMD Co-Co and Bo-Bo diesel locomotives built in early 1980's are still being used on the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (IRIR) - Trans - Iranian Railway.
The EMD G22W Bo-Bo's were produced by the Duro Dakovic works in what was then Yugoslavia and supplied from 1982. The EMD G726W-2 and 2A locomotives came from GMD Canada and Hyundai, South Korea respectively from 1982 - 85.
The clips were taken on the Tehran - Gorgan Line around the Veresk Bridge on the Far Rail Tour to Iran April 2018. The Veresk Bridge was built in 1936 by Austrian engineers.
The last still is a new DMU from Hyundai Rotem, South Korea. IRIR would like you to think that they built tem, but apart from screwing in the seats, they didn't do a lot.
