In this video we will show my preferred way of modeling a bottle screw cap, or any other screw type.
Using two Helix Splines, the Loft Generator and a handful of modeling tools, you'll be able to model a screw cap in a few minutes, while keeping the geometry clean, and except for two triangles, all other polygons are quads.
