The Wild Robot is written and directed by Chris Sanders and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Ving Rhames, Matt Berry and Mark Hamill. The animated sci-fi adventure is based on Peter Brown’s bestseller of the same title and follows the journey of a robot that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the island’s animals and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
