Описание: 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback Full Review - The K4 satisfies with cool looks and plentiful features at an affordable price but several competitors offer most of that plus more fun behind the wheel. Offered as either a sedan or a hatchback, the K4 is a spacious, practical, and high-value choice among compact cars. A pair of four-cylinder engines is on offer, and Kia has baked in plenty of tech, including an available wall of screens on the dashboard and a host of driver-assistance features. Even adults will find the rear seat comfortable enough for a long ride, and the trunk offers plenty of space for everyone’s luggage.

Most K4 models have a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive, and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). When we drove the K4 with this powertrain, we found it sluggish but relatively smooth and quiet. Luckily, Kia is also offering a 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine as an upgrade. The more powerful engine is exclusive to the GT-Line Turbo trim, and it comes with a conventional eight-speed automatic. The GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo also come with a more sophisticated multi-link rear suspension, whereas all the other K4s come with a torsion-beam setup.

With the base four-cylinder under its hood, the Kia K4 earns 30 mpg city and 40 mpg highway ratings from the EPA. That puts it squarely in the middle of the fuel economy bracket that includes competitors like the Honda Civic and Mazda 3. The peppier GT-Line Turbo has slightly lower ratings of 26 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. On our 75-mph highway fuel economy route, the GT-Line Turbo achieved 35 mpg.

Kia has kept the K4's interior design simple and stylishly modern, with a linear look to the dash. Although there's a large infotainment display, there are also still several physical buttons for controls, which is refreshing given the auto industry's push to digitize such things. Unfortunately, the available touchscreen that operates the climate controls is easily blocked from view by the steering wheel. At least the wheel itself is interesting, as it looks different from the wheel in other Kia models and features an offset logo. As its raised roof suggests, the hatchback version features extra headroom for rear-seat passengers, and the cargo area has 22 cubic feet of cargo capacity with the seats up and 59 cubic feet with the seats folded.
