When New York Special Prosecutor Thomas E. Dewey launches a campaign against Dutch Schultz, the gangster retaliates by plotting Dewey’s assassination. The episode stars James Gregory, Ken Lynch, Shepherd Sanders, and John Dennis, and is directed by Allen H. Miner. It is based on the memoirs of real-life New York detective Barney Ruditsky, who battled crime and corruption throughout the 1920s. The series originally aired on NBC in 1959.
