Leaders from the BJD and Congress staged a symbolic funeral procession, raising slogans and intensifying their agitation inside the House.
During the protest, Mangu Khillar was seen crying loudly (“bho bho kandile” – weeping uncontrollably), reflecting the strong emotional response of the विपक्ष over the issue. The demonstration added to the already tense atmosphere, with repeated slogan-shouting and disruptions inside the Assembly.

Such symbolic protests and emotional displays have marked the ongoing Assembly session, as opposition parties continue to demand accountability and action from the government over the SCB incident.
