This documentary explores the various factors that push children to drop out of school and delves into interventions designed by Propel’s CSR team to bring those children back to the classrooms.
We learn why Propel’s CSR team presents data to teachers that help them understand their students beyond their academic performance and situate any behavioral changes within the context from which it originates. Importantly, identifying lack of foundational skills as one reason students become alienated in higher classes and eventually drop out, Propel CSR has introduced foundation learning classes, specifically designed to meet the needs of students who have been left behind, strengthening their basic reading and math skills and empowering them to become confident students for whom the whole world of knowledge is open and accessible.
