Holy Stone HS900 - "Yes No-Maybe" -- On the fence on this one ! - Part 1 - Questionable ? 😱👀🤷

Описание: I'm kinda new to Holy Stone Drones. Will this be the one? Does it tick all the boxes? Does the hype live up to reality?
Transparency is key and if a company has Marketed Features, they should work or be called out on them.

Let's see how well Holy Stone does on this one.

It does have some leadership qualities... but also has inherent issues that many have (sadly) glossed over.

The resulting imagery looks good and is representative of an 8K photo but not 48MP. Maybe the App should more accurately state 1k - 4k & 8k photos.

Does it even raise up to the level of the DJI Mavic Mini of years gone by (as it has the same basic camera with less options)??

The annoyances I encountered were ever-present and super frustrating. Continual connection and video transmission issues derailed a pleasant experience very quickly. This was later attributed (in part) by my use of a wireless mic. Although somewhat rectified, pixelation issues still arose even at close distances (reminisce of the initial Potensic Atom).

Subsequent trial flights only emphasized the lack of tracking efficiencies, controller malfunctions, screen pixelation etc.... & rose even deeper concerns !

But a super great thing I did like ... the update process... 100% amazing compared to other models & the resulting imagery is pretty good for the 1/2.3 camera.

I will have a few more videos on this one before I conclude... but so far... I'm on the fence.

Are the features there for the price or is it just another flying camera... and is that enough? -- Is it?

There must be a reason I kept subconsciously saying the price was $250 😂😱 **(Subsequently the current price of the DJI Mini 4K)

On Amazon: The prices fluctuate almost daily. Remember, initially this HS900 was only released in the U.S. of A. !

Good drones are in this price range. Is this a contender to compete??

That's a great question... The imagery is (after all) ... Pretty Good. Other features are lacking and in some respects not necessary without refinement.

Again.. On the fence on this one.. It'll need more testing. Which usually opens "Pandora's Box" !!

In this case... it sure did! .. Stay tuned for a few more videos.. We're just getting started!
