Hi - in this video I’m going to share with 5 actions you can take right now to help you on your way to your first 1,000 visitors to your site.

Okay then, how do you get your first 1,000 visitors to your site?
1 - First of all; Research your ideal client or customer. Create your Customer Profile or Client Avatar; answer questions such as; where will you find them online, what are their other interests, what forums or groups do they engage with? What are their worries, fears, problems? Is your audience within a specific gender, or age bracket, which social media platforms do they use the most? Are they more likely to be mobile users? Or maybe tablet users or even good old desktop users? What kinds of hot buttons do they have that could drive a buying decision in favour of your offering?
2 - Next, is there any specific problem or set of problems your product solves? If you’re not sure then use online product reviews from e-commerce sights with competitor products, read the reviews - especially the negative ones, negative comments can be a great source to identify any positives for your product - if you solve that issue already or can solve it going forward you have a great buyers incentive. Once you’ve got this use the information to help with action 3.
3 - Create a high valued targeted piece of content around these issues - calling out how your product solves their problem. Your content can take the form of an article or video or bullet list. Make use of popular related keywords within your content, search engines love related and popular content. A word of warning here though, be careful not to overdo the use of keywords, search engines don't like it if your content is overloaded with keywords - make sure to strike a balance. You'll also need an appealing headline - while 8 in 10 viewers will read the headline if it sucks no one will even click through to the content. Don’t underestimate the need for a good headline.
4 - Action 4: Ring fence your content, so that visitors have to share the content before being able to read it. Give them a free valuable pdf/list/ebook etc if they share your content. By using a social share app, this will increase the number of visitors to your site.
5 - And finally, reach out to other businesses, link up with them to share or link back content, tell them you’ll add in references to their content so that they'll reciprocate. Just be sure to get their agreement before referencing, so that they have the option to support you.
