Recorded at The Beaten Track, Deansgate, Manchester on 29th November 1997 this gig was the last ever performance by the Red Eye Blues Band.
The song here, My Kind of Baby, is credited by Noel to Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets - though I suspect he meant that our version was based on their 1987 collaboration with Sam Myers on vocals and harmonica from the album ‘Sins’. Noel was a big Little Walter fan so he would have known that his was the original from back in ‘53. Either way, a great tune I’m sure you’ll agree.
