The Republican Party is in a tight spot post-Super Tuesday.
Staring down the prospect of nominating Donald Trump for president, the GOP spiraled into a last-ditch search for a way to unseat the unpredictable celebrity candidate without alienating his followers.
On the left, Hillary Clinton solidified her status as the Democratic frontrunner. She won seven out of 11 states, including Massachusetts -- neighbor to Sen. Bernie Sanders' home state of Vermont.
Dave Levinthal, senior political reporter with the Center for Public Integrity, discussed those races and campaign finance issues with Capital Insider.
