Today, Monday, February 2, 2026, the "Olympic Parliament" gathers in one of the world’s most iconic opera houses to commence the institutional start of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. This ceremony marks the first Olympic Session presided over by IOC President Kirsty Coventry, who took office in June 2025.
