Описание: Gabe Bolar sits down with UFC Veteran Eryk Anders, linebacker that helped The Alabama Crimson Tide secure their first BCS National title under Nick Saban then went on to become an MMA Veteran in the UFC.

Eryk goes into detail about his upbringing in a military family that required him to move a lot and experience multiple cultures and faces a of life. During this great interview Eryk discusses the differences in being a recruit back in the mid 2000s compared to today's current state of recruiting and college football. How he had to do most of the footwork to get noticed and earn himself a last minute scholarship at The University of Alabama.
During his time at Bama he was a part of the transition of coaches that included Nick Sagan's start to a legendary era. Securing a sack that led to a fumble, recovered by Bama. Eryk played a key role in getting Bama their first BCS Natty with Nick Saban as head coach.

Following his National Championship win Eryk went on to make an NFL attempt which was short lived, making him settle for multiple short term jobs where he would be training MMA on the side as a hobby to stay in shape and potentially turn into a career. With his experience of determination, dedication, and hard work, Eryk won multiple amateur fights. Eventually he'd become champion for MMA pro promotions which led him to the UFC where he knocked out his opponent in his debut, sending his MMA career to new heights.

His UFC career opened up many doors and opportunities for him to grow as a human, travel the world, network, and live the life he wanted to create when pursuing football. Still residing near Birmingham in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Eryk is eyeing his retirement fight in the UFC so he can focus on "Ya Boi Fitness Academy", his own dojo where he can give back to the community that has shown him so much love and support since securing Bama the 2009 Natty.

Eryk wraps up this great convo by telling us his goals, short term and long term, for his dojo and why its very important to learn a martial art whether it be BJJ or kickboxing in order to help someone feel better about themself, or a kid that may get bullied or picked on will gain confidence within themself at a young age to help craft them into a great person or even potentially become the next best UFC vet like himself!
