Alembic Rogue 5 with old Markbass Andre Gouche strings played over the song Keep Forgettin by Michael McDonald. Recorded straight into a Focusrite Clarett with no EQ/Compression.
Alembics are very unique and well crafted instruments. They have a certain tonal character that makes them instantly recognisable. Also the note clarity is very impressive, especially when the bass has new strings (this demo has old strings)
