नोएडा में लैप्स बीमा पॉलिसी को मैच्योर कराने और ज्यादा पैसा दिलाने का झांसा देकर करोड़ों की ठगी करने वाले एक बड़े गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ हुआ है। फेज-1 थाना पुलिस ने सेक्टर-10 में चल रहे फर्जी कॉल सेंटर पर छापा मारकर तीन शातिर ठगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपी जस्ट डायल और डार्क वेब से डाटा खरीदकर देशभर के लोगों को कॉल करते थे। जिनकी बीमा पॉलिसी लैप्स हो चुकी थी, उन्हें प्रोसेसिंग और सेटलमेंट के नाम पर ₹10,000 से ₹1 लाख तक ठग लिया जाता था।

A major gang involved in defrauding people of crores of rupees in Noida by promising to mature lapsed insurance policies and secure higher payouts has been busted. Police from Phase-1 police station raided a fake call center operating in Sector-10 and arrested three cunning fraudsters. According to the police, the accused purchased data from Just Dial and the dark web and called people across the country. They would then defraud those whose insurance policies had lapsed, extorting between ₹10,000 and ₹1 lakh from each victim under the pretext of processing and settlement fees.
