I experiment with silver paint, aluminum foil and the Bare Metal Foil product to decorate HO scale models of relay sheds.
My model supplies and equipment were in transit to our new home. So painting with Metallizer or using my metal paint pens were not options. So I experimented, with mixed results, with various foils and adhesives.
