An introduction to the famous land artist Andy Goldsworthy. This story, intended for preschoolers and early elementary age children, is a look at how Goldsworthy finds inspiration for his work, and then starts sculpting. It also dives into ideas of ephemeral art, and how Goldsworthy is interested in watching his works change and get destroyed by nature.
The story is a perfect set up for nature loose parts play, and was the start of our larger Goldsworthy Art unit, where we created our own sculptures out in nature.
