This song is basically the Gusty Garden of Mario Odyssey. When this theme first started playing in game, it immediately put a smile on my face, as it was a great indicator of the fantastic music that was to come from the rest of the adventure! Mario Odyssey is a wonderful entry in the 3D Mario series, and I’m sure people will be talking about it for years to come. The music in this game is especially awesome! I’ve loved Jump Up Superstar, Tostarena Ruins, New Donk City, but most of all, Cascade Kingdom. The music in this level is so fitting for the scenery, and represents the grand adventure that you’re just embarking on!

I was recently informed by one of my friends at school that T-SQUARE (a fantastic Japanese fusion band) has some of their albums on Spotify. After listening to some of their songs, I was inspired to mash up Cascade Kingdom’s theme with Kanata E, the second track off of T-SQUARE’s Rebirth album. (If you’ve heard the track before, you will DEFINITELY notice the similarities to this video). I brought on my two former roommates Spiro (Sammy) Dussias & Kenneth Stern to lay down some fantastic 80’s guitar work. These guys did a fantastic job, as they always do. Super happy with how this turned out, and I hope you enjoy the creation :D
