The people of Zwelitsha just outside of King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape will be celebrating one of their own with a homecoming party for Lukhanyo Am. A welcoming motorcade is underway moving from Breidbach, through to King Williamstown and Ginsberg before heading to Zwelitsha. The day will culminate with a formal gathering at the OR Tambo hall in Zwelitsha. Am plays outside the centre for the Springboks and was instrumental in sending Makazole Mapimpi away for the first try in the World Cup final against England. His pass to Mapimpi is seen as one of the most selfless moves in World Cup history. Lets cross to our reporter Abongile Jantjies who is on the ground.
