Join me as I explore Beaumaris Castle, a stunning and unfinished masterpiece built by Edward I during his conquest of Wales. Located on the Isle of Anglesey, Beaumaris is known as the most technically perfect castle in Britain – and once you step inside, it’s easy to see why.
In this video, I take a walk around the outer walls, the towers, and through some of the quieter passageways to soak up the atmosphere and the centuries of history. It’s one of the most scenic spots in North Wales – with views out over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia on a clear day.
