WE TRIED TO OUTRUN STORM LEONARDO ⚡️⚡️ - COULD WE MAKE IT TO MALAGA!!

Описание: Hi everyone,

Storm Leonardo was heading fast along the south coast of Spain… and we were right in its path.🤦🏻‍♂️

While staying near Cádiz in our motorhome, we realised the storm was going to hit hard. So we made a quick decision — head East as fast and as far as possible and try to avoid the worst of it. So we decided on trying to get to the Malaga area.

We managed to grab a last-minute spot at a quirky campsite — but there was a catch. The access? A long, steep, deeply rutted track that already had us nervous on the way down.

Then the rain came.

With heavy downpours battering the area, we hunkered down and rode out Storm Leonardo… all the while wondering if we’d made a huge mistake. Would the track wash out completely? — would we even be able to get back up it in our motorhome once the storm passed?

But our journey has been nothing conpared to all of the poor people inpacted by the constant storms, record rainfalls and dreadful winds - we really hope this beautiful area of Andalusia can recover quickly. It has been horrible to watch the news stories, so many people impacted. 😨

After two days and nights hunkering down in the van, we finally managed to wander down the hill into Malaga - what a beautiful city and Cathedral!!
