Doha’s former Ministry of Interior building, a landmark of 1970s Middle Eastern brutalism designed by William Sednaoui, has been transformed into a 90-room boutique hotel. This adaptive reuse project reflects a strong commitment to reducing construction-related carbon impact while supporting local regional cultural
identity. Carefully restored and extended with an additional floor, the building now hosts restaurants, public spaces, art installations, and a rooftop spa, with contemporary additions crafted from durable, high-quality materials.
