We Anchored Next to an Active Volcano! 🌋 [Ep.2]

Описание: We start this weeks episode in Acciaroli, after picking up the anchor, we set sail south towards Cetraro. The coastline didn’t disappoint — dramatic cliffs, turquoise water, and views that kept us glued to the cockpit. 🌊

We made a short stop at Baia degli Infreschi, a stunning little bay and a perfect spot to swim or spend the night (if you’re lucky enough to find space). We jumped in, took the paddle boards out, soaked it all in… and then it was time to move on.

By the end of the day we dropped anchor near Diamante, which at first felt like a ghost town. That illusion didn’t last long though; once we found the narrow shopping streets, we also found the life of the town. 🌃

The next morning we snorkeled around the small island just off the beach, and got attacked by an insect we'd accidentally brought all the way from the Netherlands. When we moved on down the coastline, things got even more interesting when we crossed paths with water-scooping firefighting planes — flying so low it felt like we might lose our mast. Way too close for comfort. ✈️

After yet another restless night of rolling thanks to strong currents, we decided it was time for something truly epic. Next stop: Stromboli — the island with a volcano that’s been erupting nonstop for over 2,000 years. 🌋
