Have you ever felt overwhelmed by these types of problems? Don't worry! We have a simple trick to help you solve them faster than ever.

First, remember the formula: Work = Rate × Time. If you can calculate the rate at which work is done, you can easily figure out how long it will take to complete a task.

Now, here’s the trick: When dealing with multiple workers or machines, add their rates together. For example, if Worker A can complete a task in 10 days and Worker B in 15 days, their combined rate is 1/10 + 1/15.

To find the common denominator, multiply the two denominators. In this case, it's 30. So, Worker A completes 3/30 of the work per day, while Worker B completes 2/30. Together, they can complete 5/30 of the work each day.

Now, to find the total time taken, simply divide the total work by their combined rate.

Using this method, you can quickly solve any Time and Work question that comes your way in the SBI Clerk exam.
