Omg I think it's been like a month since I actually uploaded something. Sorry about that!

So less than a week ago I watched the Maleficent movies for the first time and I'm kicking myself for not watching them sooner. I'm a HUGE disney fan. Just not of the live action movies. I've only watched a couple. It's not that they're bad but I have loved the animated movies for like 20 years so when they get remade I have high expectations that are never met.

But last week I had made it my mission to watch more disney stuff including live action movies and I started with Maleficent because I love Angelina Jolie and I thought it would at least be decent with her in it. Little did I know lmao.

All I have to say is that Angelina Jolie is the BEST Maleficent we could have asked for. She was made for that role. And Elle's smile omg. She has my favourite smile in the whole world and she really has Aurora's presence. This was perfect casting idc. Plus they have amazing chemistry together. You can see a real bond with them and they really bring the mother and daughter duo to life.

These movies are literally amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. They are by far the best live action movies and probably one of my fave movies in the whole of Disney. The first one is amazing but I loved the second one even more!

So I didn't expect this but I completely fell in love with these two. To the point where I'm obsessed lmao. And when I get obsessed with something I vid. When I went into these movies I had no idea that Maleficent would have a soft side. I thought it was more like the animated movie. Her being pure evil but I love that we got to see this side of her. That she was done wrong when her wings were cut off and that turned her evil. Only to find herself again when a little girl comes into her life. It's beautiful.

I love their relationship SO MUCH. In the first movie we saw Maleficent fighting for Aurora and in the second movie we saw Aurora fighting for Maleficent. It came full circle and god they have one of the best dynamics I have ever seen. They might be my fave platonic relationship of all time now. If not they come close to the top. I love everything about them and I hope that came across in the video I made.

Also the scene where Maleficent sacrifices her life to save Aurora. KILL ME. I literally could not stop bawling. "You're my mother." BYEEEE. They ripped my heart out in that scene. Elle's screaming when Maleficent fades away. That is acting RIGHT THERE. She's so young but she's already an amazing actress. Okay I don't care how long it takes I need a third movie. Or at least have these two act in another movie together. I need more of them.

Anyway I hope you guys like this! I've always been conscious about vidding platonic relationships since I feel like I'm not good at them and I could never do them justice but I really wanted to show their beautiful dynamic in this video. And I thought this song was perfect for them.
