The recent Pilgrimage of Hope concert in St. Anne's church, Bukit Mertajam, has sparked confusion, distress and uproar amongst the faithful in Malaysia.
The sacrilege that occurred at this event speaks to a greater issue - we as Catholics do not know what worship is.
We have lost our sense of reverence and tradition, giving it up for the sake of acceptance from the world. We did it because we thought this would bring the young people back to the church, but has this worked?
