Corkscrew Drill -Freestyle/Backstroke Combo: Professional Swim Coaching - Ep. 7

Описание: The corkscrew drill is a seamless combination of Freestyle and Backstroke swimming which results in the swimmer spinning in the water.

This drill strengthens your core and also helps you keep straight while swimming. Doing this drill in an Endless Pool with a current is especially helpful because it is key to stay within the current and any rotation or bending will cause a swimmer to have to restart.

The Corkscrew drill is great for passing other swimmers or doing turns around a water buoy in a race.

Coach Dominic’s narration and to-the-point scientific approach allows swimmers to learn safely and efficiently about different strokes that will better their swimming technique. Drills such as this one are fantastic for more efficient swimming.
