This webinar, which took place on August 23, 2022 will take you through the significant impact that coding has on the PDGM model and calculation of the HIPPS code. Medical Review is on the rise and one aspect of home health medical review is the confirmation of the primary diagnosis and whether it truly is the primary focus of care. If the Start of Care is being reviewed, was the primary diagnosis TREATED during the Face-to-Face Encounter? In addition, this webinar will review new ICD-10 codes that have been introduced in 2022-23. Lastly, as the new year begins for the new codes on October 1, this webinar will outline the process for updating codes in the patient chart for billing purposes for those patients that will already be on service October 1.
