After falling behind 2–0 midway through the second period, the Hat Tricks stormed back in front of the home crowd at the Danbury Ice Arena.
Brady Walters jumpstarted the rally before Matt Dabrowski buried the equalizer to even things up heading into the third.
Then, with 8:51 remaining in regulation, Ludovik Gauvin delivered the dagger — snapping home the go-ahead goal to lift Danbury to a 3–2 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Rebels and earn a split in the weekend home-and-home series.
With the win, the Hat Tricks improved to 4–2 against the Rebels this season and reached a milestone in the process, securing their 50th point of the year — the most in franchise history.
