On 19 July 2025, the district of Dharashiv created history with an extraordinary environmental initiative Harit Dharashiv Abhiyan.

In a single day, 15+ lakh saplings were planted across 293 locations, transforming landscapes and igniting a powerful movement for a greener tomorrow. 🌱

What made this campaign truly remarkable was the thoughtful planning behind it. Every sapling was carefully selected and completely indigenous, ensuring ecological balance, sustainability, and long-term environmental impact.

Over 1 lakh participants including citizens, volunteers, students, officials, and district administration came together with one shared vision: to nurture nature. This massive collective effort didn’t just plant trees; it planted hope for future generations.

The campaign played a pivotal role in achieving prestigious recognitions from the World Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records, marking Dharashiv’s name on the global environmental map. 🌍✨
