Where to now? That is the question Canadian businesses and trade representatives have been asking themselves since the United States began threatening to add tariffs to Canadian imports. More than 75 percent of our goods... worth almost $600B ... are destined for the U.S. every year. But Canada is also party to 15 global free trade agreements covering 51 countries. So, if the U.S. has become an unreliable trade partner, where in the world does Canada seek new trade deals, or strengthen existing agreements? Is it even possible to replace the U.S. as a trade partner?
