Today we’re doing something different — something I honestly needed.
I’m dealing with burnout again, and one of the ways I process it is by looking back at where I started. So today we’re reacting to my first-ever Let’s Play video, posted way back in September 2020, on the original SocksWayUp channel. It was a City Skylines series called Sox Town, and watching it again… wow. Timid voice, no plan, no music, random roads — but also a lot of heart and a clear desire to build something.
This video is part reflection, part reaction, and part reminder that every creator starts somewhere. Whether you’re new here or have been with me through all the Farm Sim, City Skylines, Software Inc, and variety phases… this is a cool time capsule.
