Sveti Vlas is a small resort town in southeastern Bulgaria, just next to Sunny Beach, 5 km away and 10 km from Nessebar. There's also the villa village of Elenite (4 km) and the Kamchia reserve and Cape Emine nearby. It's about 420 km from Sveti Vlas to Sofia, 302 km to Plovdiv, 91 km to Varna and 40 km to Burgas.

Sveti Vlas is at the foot of the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains and on the Black Sea coast, which makes it a nice and peaceful place to live.

The climate is great for treating lung diseases because of the sea and mountain combination. Just 1 km from St. Vlas is Bulgaria's only sea sanatorium.

The beach at Sveti Vlas is nice and golden with a southern exposure, about 1.5 km long. Autumn here is long and warm, winter is short, with at least 1600 sunny hours.

Sveti Vlas is famous for its marina, which is part of the Marina Dinevi complex. Sveti Vlas was founded by the Thracians in the 2nd century, making it one of the oldest settlements in Nessebar municipality. The modern construction in St. Vlas is one of the oldest villages in the region. Vlas can be divided into two periods: before 2000 and after 2000.

Up until 2000, family homes were built up to two or three floors. The construction was limited to the land with a slope and forest, the road to Sunny Beach and the gas station at the entrance to the town. All other areas were agricultural land.

After 2000, construction started on agricultural land beyond the highway towards the sea. The "Bor" street was built from the highway to the Sun Palace complex.

Nowadays, Pine Street is the main road. Pine is extended and built in east-west directions, with most of the modern development on the first and second lines from the seashore.
