I want to start by saying that this video is not meant to bash Klein in any way shape or form (I love my Klein Tools). But I wanted to bring attention to a very dangerous malfunction with one of their non-contact voltage detectors, the NCVT-2. I'm also giving my initial impressions of the brand new NCVT-5. A Very nice detector, but extremely low audible alert volume makes this device extremely hard to hear if there's any ambient noise around you. Any running machinery, saws cutting, hammering...ext., you are not going to be able to hear the NCVT-5. I hope someone at Klein will reach out to me concerning these issues. I would love to discuss it with them. I hope you enjoyed the video, and as always...

*Note- there is a "mute" feature on the NCVT-2, but I was not holding the power button in long enough for that to engage. You can clearly see the devise turning on and off and my thumb is no where near the power button.
