Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Dr. Warren G. Morgan will deliver the annual State of the Schools address at noon today as he discusses “his priorities and progress after his first year leading the schools.”
His speech is hosted by The City Club of Cleveland at the Huntington Convention Center.
"I am honored to return to the City Club of Cleveland to deliver the State of the Schools address after a full year in my role as CEO,” Dr. Morgan said in a press release. “This event is a vital platform for sharing my journey with the Cleveland community and emphasizing the profound importance of community engagement and the connectedness that this forum fosters. It is an opportunity to reflect on our shared successes, ongoing efforts, and the challenges we face together as a school district and as a community, and the work we're doing to navigate and thrive.”
Dr. Morgan became CEO of CMSD in July of 2023.
CMSD is also on the ballot in the upcoming Nov. 5 election.
